Hejsan alla faddrar!
Vi håller ständig kontakt med alla ungdomarna och allt är bra med dem och deras skolgång. Richard har skickat detta mail till oss. Han har även berättat för oss att han nu flyttat till ett nytt boende i Kibera då huset han hyrde ett rum i förut blev sålt.

Richards brev från maj 2011:

I have get the money you send for the transport. okey I want to give thank to all of you of your kinds, it was very hard for me to find a chance like this, that I can go to school again, I went to promise you that I will do my best to achive this soon I will be a mechanic, that is what am aiming for thank you. Välkommen till Bredsands skola tisdag 24/5. Då ordnar skol-if och kulturgruppen massor av roliga aktiviteter: Talangjakt, fotboll, basket, pingis, utställningar mm. Vi grillar goda hamburgare och korv som säljs på skolgården. Vi säljer också varor; armband, kakor, godis och plastpåsar för att tjäna in pengar till Kenyaprojektet. Lotteri har vi också!

Here are we all of us from this latest trip in Kibers. We miss you all! And we are waiting for you to come to Sweden this christmas! Thanks for all the nice bracelets you sent! Now we will sell them all to earn money for your trip over here.

Nu i söndags (8/5) har vi i projektet varit ute och jobbat åt SCA. Vi har städat efter SCAs virkesupplägg på åkrar i Kovland, Vicksjö och Härnösand. Nästa vecka har vi ett jobb till i Gnarp och efter det får vi lön från SCA. Alla pengar går såklart till våra faddrars skolavgifter. Ett stort tack till SCA och till alla som var med och jobbade i söndags!

Allt går bra för våra fadderungdomar och vårt projekt. Nu har vi satt in Saras andra terminsavgift på 2350 kr och Abbis förskoleavgift för en termin: 800 kr. Vi har även skickat över buss och lunchkostnader för maj och juni för alla 4 ungdomar; 3160 kr. I Abbis förskoleavgift ingår buss och lunch. Alla är mkt tacksamma för allt stöd från sina faddrar och sponsorer. Ni kan här läsa Saras senaste brev som hon skickade 1 maj.

   I am glad to let you know that my studies in school is good so far. I just finished level 3 which is an equivalent to diploma a month ago. I am currently doing my level 4, meanwhile I am preparing for my B1 examination which will be due three months from now. Our exams are usually set by an international body in France. As is it now am just burring my head with books as B1 is a little complex. I am working extremely hard to achieve the best, I am therefore hoping to perform well considering the fact that you have made it possible for me to study without having to worry about school fees. I signed up for speed lingua which is a module put in place to help with listening and hearing exercises. It also improves one's pronunciation skills. It's fun and am loving it :) Thanks a lot for the continued support towards this course.
